Start with TPI Assessments

Everyone has their own unique physical abilities and limitations. When working on your golf game, you may look at any number of different approaches. These assessments help you obtain information about how your body moves and how it compares to what a safe and effective golf swing looks like. They are also great tools to take to a swing coach so they understand what adjustments you are physically able to make. Most importantly, these are tools that help you better your golf game.

TPI Level 1 Golf Mobility/Stability Assessment – Assesses the mobility of the golfer and helps identify areas of immobility that can affect the golf swing. Additionally assesses the stabilization abilities of the golfer and helps identify areas of instability that can affect the swing.

TPI Level 2 Golf Strength and Power Assessment – Assesses the strength and power of the golfer specific to golf positions and the golf swing.

Post Assessment Programs

Post Mobility/Stability Assessment “Stage 1” Training Package

Mobility and stability are two of the most foundational components of the golf swing. Lack of either (or both) will result in lower power production, swing compensations and can even cause pain.

Think of stability as a surface to jump off of. You will get much higher and produce more power jumping off the concrete than by jumping off a floating, flimsy pool raft… Establishing stability in the hips, ankles, etc. will provide solid anchors for producing power in the golf swing.

Lack of Mobility is one of the main reasons why golfers compensate their swing and even become injured. It is also a primary suspect with individuals struggling with power production. From a power perspective, swinging with significant immobility is comparable to driving your car while holding down the brake pedal. Releasing the brake (mobilizing the muscles and joints) will have you driving smooth like a Cadillac.

The Stage 1 training program attacks the specific areas of need based on the TPI Level 1 Mobility/Stability Assessment. The goal here is to restore ranges of motion and stability essential to the golf swing. In addition to increasing mobility/stability of muscles and joints, expect to see power gains in your golf game.

Post Strength and Power Assessment “Stage 2” Training Package

Frustrated with a gradual loss of power and distance? Simply looking to outdrive the rest of your foursome? This training program will help build strength and power in the essential movements of the golf swing. Once initial power and strength are measured via the Level 2 assessment, a customized plan of attack is created to get your body golf-strong and producing incredible power in your swing. Expect to add distance to your game.
